Adventure and fun await at Pleasant View Orchard with recreational fun that includes seasonal trails, tasty foods and hayrides. Continuing south, cyclists can stop for food and fun at Indiana Grand Racing and Casino. Meandering along Historic 421, you’ll enter the city of Shelbyville where bike-friendly Blue River Trail, a 4.6 mile trail along the Big and Little Blue Rivers, allows for shady bird-watching or canoeing.
The Porter Visitors’ Center is conveniently located along the trail, stop in for updates on festivals and events. Make sure to visit several downtown eateries and brewpubs, then visit the Grover Museum and walk the Streets of Old Shelby. Visit the Gallery, the Coffee Shop or any of the unique shops along the historic downtown area.
As you head south, stop by Nostalgia on 9 or the Flat Rock Café. Take a relaxing break along the Flat Rock River rest stop right along State Road 252. Southern Shelby County has some of the most scenic hills and dales in the state. We look forward to seeing you and your family pedaling through.
